As a teacher in another district and a parent of two children that attended Marshall, they are as concerned about testing as all of the schools/districts in this area and beyond. This is an exceptional school with an education that you can't find in most other schools. Discipline is outstanding as are the administration and teachers. Everyone works to help all of the children succeed and feel successful at Marshall. Pushing kids a great deal with much homework even in the 2nd grade and up. We have had three children attend this school throughout the last decade -- and we've moved out of state three times, but always come back to this district and this school in particular. All of the teachers were top notch, the principals and vice principal have been great, and there is a high level of parental involvement. I have a special needs son who is fully included except for one pull-out for communication arts -- and that special needs teacher cannot be beat! She is incredible! The other children are kind to my son, and include him. Possibly the only negative to the school is its size -- it's a rather large elementary school -- but, having said that, it's a wonderful school, and always has been.” Posted By: parent Quality Score: 5 2005-02-11 “This is a great school.It is well-organized and gives quality education.I am very pleased with teachers' attentions and communications with students.
