Whiskey Grin

whiskey grin

View Full Profile

Whiskey Grin is a local favorite at clubs, fairs and events in the tri-county area, and has opened for well known Pittsburgh acts such as the PovertyNeck Hillbillies and national acts including Lynyrd Skynyrd. They have been together for  4 years, and are well known for their entertaining and high energy live performances.

In September 2008, the band released their self titled debut album, Whiskey Grin. The new CD, simply titled “Whiskey Grin,” is a 14 track culmination of the band's influences, attitude and outlook. Truly ecstatic over its completion, the band is proud of the accomplishment, and has sprinkled a myriad of country, rock, pop, and soul sounds into one compelling compilation. The disc has something for everyone, and is designed to share the band's upbeat attitude.

The band is comprised of 6 members: Curt Marino on lead vocals, Mike Lemire on lead and rhythm guitars and vocals, Dave Charles on bass guitars and vocals, Brad Cunningham on keyboards and vocals, Russ Hoffmaster on drums and vocals and Frank Cackowski on fiddle.

For show schedule and booking information, visit the band's website at www.whiskeygrin.com or on myspace at www.myspace.com/whiskeygrin.
