This is one of my largest drawings and it took over two years to complete. I began in 1995 and finished sometime in '97. This was during a time when I didn't have the discipline to draw every day, as I do now. What I like most about this particular piece is that it depicts an earlier style of drawing and I believe Organic Graphite's namesake will be better understood after viewing it.
Ten years ago, the only record I was capable of making was on slide film. Today, it's frame and mat require attention so I've taken the opportunity to aquire a high-quality scan while it is out of it's protective home.
You may notice that it's a 'Szymanski'! (My maiden name.) There aren't too many of these left.
