Description: Pine Hollow Pottery Pine Hollow Pottery is a unique and different kind of pottery. It is a one-of-a-kind hand built pottery that like the snowflake no two pieces are exactly the same. It is art to stimulate all the senses: “Sight”-to view it, “Touch”-to hold it, “Smell- to fill it with flowers, “Sound”-to hear the wind blow it, and “Taste”-to eat from it. Impressions in the clay are created from many sources - from wood printing blocks struck with a hammer, to heirloom lace and doilies which are gently rolled into the clay with a rolling pin. The colors range from the pastels of meadow flowers to the intense hues of a southwestern sunset. All clays used are porcelain or high-fire stoneware and all functional pieces are guaranteed to be food safe. This very unusual pottery originated from our desire to design and share with others the type of art we have enjoyed collecting over the years, at prices affordable to everyone. We thank you for choosing Pine Hollow Pottery, and hope in the coming years it brings you as much pleasure as it has brought us in creating it for you.
