I would reccomend friendsand family members to Dollar Smart. I overextened myself over the holidays and found myself in need of quick cash to get me through until my next payday. I called in advance to see what paperwork I needed so I was prepared when I arrived. I only spent about fifteen minutes in the store and left with the cash I needed. The associates were friendly and the price was very reasonable.

The ladies at Dollar Smart in the Forest Hills Shopping plaza are the best! You must have all of your paperwork and pay on time. If you must use a loan place this is the best place to go and the fees are reasonable. Thank you for treating me with respect.

I heard friends talking about the ease they can go here and cash a check. I did so and while there learned about Fast Loans. Fast Loans allowed me to get a loan fast without checking my credit. I now use Fast Loans at Dollar Smart to get a loan when I need it, quick and with very friendly service. Keep up the good work.

This unique place will not give you a payday loan unless you have your telephone bill with you. I don't know why they put so much weight on the phone bill, but they sure do want to see it. And if the phone bill is more than 30 days old they will restrict the amount of money that you can borrow. I do like to cash checks there because they have a pretty reasonable rate for cashing a check for you. But then again nothing beats Giant Eagle and that $3. If you have a check over $1,000 this is the place to get it cashed for a reasonable amount. Dollar Smart will also cash a post-dated check for you and hold it until the date of the check. That is NICE!!! I received a payday loan from them and I did not pay it in a timely fashion so now I cannot borrow money from them for 1 year. That is kind of a stiff penalty for not paying on time. I paid, but not on time so they don't want my business anymore as far as I am concerned if I have to wait a year to go there. I will still go there to cash checks, buy money orders and do Western Union though. They are very good about those things. PROS: Low rates for Check Cashing! CONS: Payday loans are nothing but trouble in your life anyway.

I have been in this place I do not know how many times and they have refused to give me a loan. A couple weeks ago during a desperation move I went in there and they finally okayed me for cash. I always go there to cash checks but that was the only business I did with them. I was shocked when they okayed me for the loan. They are strict with the payback business though. I asked for a loan 3 days before payday and they made me come in 3 days later to pay. You can pay them and get another loan on the same day but it seemed kind of silly to me to have to do that. Most places will lend you money up to 19 days before your pay so I assumed I would pay the loan back my next pay and not the pay I received that week. First time customers only can get $200. You have to be a customer there for quite awhile before they will lend you a substantial amount of cash. I think the biggest loan they give is $450. I remember interviewing for a job at this location also... and of course I did not get the job. The people they picked instead of me I often wonder what they saw in them... but that is life I guess. If you are in a bind go there. If I am in a bind, I go there... but I am not a regular customer there and I don't really plan on being one. They will cash post-dated checks though... if they are company checks... not personal ones.
